FINALIZING GENRE

The genre we have chosen for our film opening is psychological mystery/ thriller.

Psychological thrillers often incorporate elements of mystery and include themes of morality, multiple realities or a dissolving sense of reality, and unreliable narrators.

In literature, psychological fiction (also psychological realism) is a narrative genre that emphasizes interior characterization and motivation to explore the spiritual, emotional, and mental lives of the characters.

The reason we have chosen this genre is because Zara and I both love films which keep us on the edge of us seat and have an unsettling facet along with an eccentric narrative. 

We have also decided to incorporate  the conventions of horror genre into our film opening.
